    WHAT IS THE MISSION OF THE WORSHIP MINISTRY?

    The mission of the worship ministry at Lascassas Baptist Church is to lead others to respond to the Triune God in spirit and truth. 


    WHAT ARE THE CORE VALUES OF THE WORSHIP MINISTRY?

    The LBC worship ministry adheres to six core values which guide all that we do. Our worship will be:

    1. God Exalting

    2. Christ Honoring

    3. Spirit Empowered

    4. Gospel Saturated

    5. Biblically Directed

    6. Congregationally Aware


    WHEN AND WHERE DOES THE WORSHIP MINISTRY MEET?

    Sunday Morning- Worship Team, Choir, and A/V: (7:45am - 9:00am) 

    Sunday Worship: (9:00am-10:30am)

    Wednesday Evening- Worship Team and Choir (7:00pm - 8:00pm)


    OUR THEOLOGY OF WORSHIP

    We worship God for:

    1. Who He is: Holy, perfect, loving, just, patient, sovereign, and gracious

    2. What He has done- through Jesus Christ in redeeming His people and being our constant help and comfort through the Holy Spirit

    3. What He will do- when Jesus comes back to rescue His church and make all things new


    OUR PHILOSOPHY OF WORSHIP

    Worship is our response to the revelation of God. God reveals Himself to us most clearly through His word making the Scriptures central to our gathered and individual worship. 


    OUR METHODOLOGY OF WORSHIP

    All of the songs that we sing at LBC will be

    1. Biblically faithful: Every song that we sing will be rich in biblical truth and will never contain lyrics that are controversial or contrary to the Bible. 

    2. Congregationally friendly: Every song that we sing will be in a comfortable key for people to sing in, mostly familiar to our members, and mostly will not have overly complicated melodies or rhythms. 


    WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TEAMS IN THE WORSHIP MINISTRY?

    We have three teams that serve in our worship ministry. 

    1. Worship Team (Instruments and mic vocals)

    2. Choir (6th grade and up)

    3. Audio Visual Team (Sound board, Lyric projection, camera operation)
