What is true worship?
It's
something that all Christians seeking to draw nearer to God need to
know. There are many common misconceptions about worship. One of the
most popular is that worship is the songs that we sing on Sunday
morning or Wednesday night. If you allow yourself to think this
way, then for you, worship will become nothing more than a time or a
place.
Oh but worship, true worship, is so much more than just
the songs we sing or the hands we lift in praise. Here at LBC, we like
to define worship in this way: "setting your mind's attention and your heart's affection on Jesus Christ, daily." In other words, Worship is Life. You see, worship is not what God can do for us, but what we can do for Him.
