We
are blessed at Lascassas Baptist to have a God-given, talented Worship
Team. We are striving for a level of excellence that is all too
often abandoned in the Church. Here at LBC, we feel that God
deserves our very best efforts reserved for Him, and that mediocrity in
the church should not be acceptable. We are so thankful that God
has given us the ability to lift Him up in praise every Sunday, and it
is our desire that He would be pleased. We recognize that we have
no good apart from God, not even in worship. ("I say to the Lord, 'You
are my LORD, I have no good apart from you.'" - Psalm 16). But with
God, all things are possible, and lives can be changed when they have
experienced authentic Worship in Spirit and in Truth.
Speak to one another with Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord. - Ephesians 5:19
Our Worship Team consists of Worship Pastor Joe Cox, the Worship Band, our Choir, and the Audio/Video Personnel.
It is our desire to strive together in one accord
to see Christ exalted. No worship service ever features any one person
in any kind of concert format because we want everyone to be free to
worship together. Our Worship Team is just that; a team. There are several places you can get involved within the Worship Ministry at Lascassas Baptist Church.
Choir
Here at LBC,
our choir plays a vital role in our Worship Services. We consider
each choir member a worship leader, and encourage a level of commitment
as such. We ask all choir members to make a one year commitment to the
worhip ministry at the point of entering the choir. If you are
interested in joining the LBC choir, please
contact Worship Pastor Joe Cox.
Worship Band Our
worship band currently consists of piano, drums, electric guitar, and
bass guitar. Other instruments are welcome for consideration as
additions to our worship band. Please speak with our Worship Pastor if
this is an area where you are interested in serving.
Audio/Video Personnel
Our sound and video technicians are dedicated followers of Christ who
have blessed our church by being committed to excellence in their
department of worship. They are always looking for extra help, so
if this is an area that God has given you talent, please contact our Worship Pastor so we can get you involved!
Drama TeamWe are in the process of assembling our very first Drama Team at LBC. If you are interested, please let us know!
We want everyone to have a place to serve. If is imperative that
you talk with us beforehand so that we can give you some information
that is vital for Worship Team members.
